Can you believe it is June already?! I have four items to share with you this week ::
#1 June 2012 week 2
On Sunday we continued our conversation in church groups (large group and small group) about our virtue for June 2012, TRUST. This week we discussed how we can TRUST GOD to provide for us what we need. Our bottomline was, " I can depend on God because He provides for me."
#2 Ignite Dance Team
This Sunday is the last Sunday to sign up for the dance team. If you have a rising third through fifth grader who might be interested in being on a dance team for worship on Sunday mornings you can sign them up at the check-in table upstairs!
#3 Trust Post-It Notes
The first Sunday in June with our regular take home material we sent home some "Trust Post-It Notes" so you can remind yourself and your children all week to trust God with everything.
#4 Food Drive
In our small groups we are going to be doing a food drive for the Benevolence Center at the Christian Care Center. Each week we are asking that children bring non-perishables to their small groups. At the end of July we will weigh the food and the small group with the most will get a pizza party!
